Students receiving molecular biophysics training are affiliated with one of the following graduate programs. Irrespective of their affiliation, the students meet the requirements of the molecular biophysics program as well as those of the parent program.
 |
IBiS (Interdepartmental Program in Biological
Sciences)
BMBCB (Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Cell Biology)
and NBP students (Department of Neurobiology and Physiology) follow the
IBiS structural biology, biochemistry and biophysics curriculum. |
 |
Chemistry Department
Students in the Department of Chemistry follow one of the prescribed
curricula with course choices in biophysics based
on the needs of the student and the requirements of their thesis research. |
 |
Chemical & Biological
Engineering Department
ChBE (Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering) students follow
one of the prescribed curricula with course choices in biophysics based
on the needs of the student and the requirements of their thesis research. |
 |
IGP (Integrated Graduate Program in Life Sciences)
Students in MPBC (Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Biological
Chemistry) follow the biochemistry and structural biology curriculum
of the IGP program. |
 |
NUIN (NU Neurosciences Institute)
Students in the NUIN program follow one of the prescribed curricula
with course choices in biophysics based on the needs of the student and
the requirements of their thesis research. |
 |
MSTP (Medical Scientist Training Program)
Students in the MSTP program pursue either the IBiS, IGP or NUIN curriculum
depending on the program affiliation of the preceptor. |
 |
Physics and Astronomy Department
Students in the Physics and Astronomy program follow one of the prescribed curricula with course choices in biophysics based on the needs of the student and the requirements of their thesis research. |
